Progression Between Grades Or Between Steps Within The Same Grade

When they have completed a specified duration of service with at least a decent way, permanent workers that are not at the tenth step in their grade are often eligible to step increments. In a typical progression that lasts two years and 52 months (one year) are elapsed between steps 1-2, 2-3, and 3-4. Then, up to 104 months (two years) pass between the steps of 5-6, 4-5 and 6-7. Lastly after that, up to 156 weeks (three years) pass between the steps of 7-8, 8-9 and 9-10 until the highest stage is reached at the step number 10. The term “quality step increase” (“QSI”) On contrary, might be given to an employee in celebration of their exceptional performance at work.
